Staxx

Jerry Logan’s 1934 Ford pickup, dubbed “Staxx,” is a highly decorated exercise in craftsmanship and ingenuity. Staxx was selected as one of the Great 8 finalists for the Detroit Autorama’s Ridler award in 2020, and has gone to receive many accolades since.

The work began with a custom built Schroeder Speed frame that is fitted with a 9” Ford rear end, a dual Magnacharger boosted Y-block Ford, and T-10 4-speed transmission.

Modifications to the body are almost too numerous to list, but highlights include the hand-built bed with tilt floor and slow open tailgate, flush-mounted suicide doors, a chopped and channeled cab, rear-tilt hood, and stainless firewall.
