This 1966 Chevy II first arrived at Schroeder’s as a painted (yellow) car that required we install the complete drivetrain and suspension. A custom stock-car inspired air cleaner was also formed for the car, and off it went on the local show scene.

Years later, the car returned for a complete rebuild. During its second stint at Schroeder’s, the Chevy II received extensive sheet metal work. The wheel well shapes were altered for improved design flow and were enlarged to better accommodate an upsized wheel and tire combination. Many of the cars lines were altered, gaps were tightened, and the bumpers were pulled in snugly to the body. The end result is a beautiful and understated cruiser that is as muscular as it is elegant .
